Overview
A thriving, modern manufacturing business based in Deeside is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Assembly Operators to join its dynamic team in the mechanical production of components made from steel, aluminium and plastics.
Salary: £13.26 per hour (extra £1.30 available for night shifts if you want a job on nights). You will also receive job security, free onsite parking, a modern and clean assembly area, and an immediate start available.
This role is based in Deeside (CH5), with excellent transport links for candidates from Holywell, Chester, Wrexham, Mold, Ellesmere Port, Flint, Connah's Quay, and wider North Wales and Cheshire areas. The location is ideal for those seeking manufacturing jobs, production roles, or assembly jobs in the region.
The company are investing heavily across the whole group. This factory is clean, very modern and is continually being upgraded.
Responsibilities
* Performing tasks related to the manufacturing of mechanical components with precision and care.
* Utilising manual dexterity and practical skills to assemble parts.
* Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
* Contributing to a continuous improvement environment to enhance processes.
Qualifications
* Previous production/manufacturing experience is required as well as previous experience of using hand and power tools.
* Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.
* Manual dexterity and a keenness to learn.
* Full training given.
* Ability to follow SOPs diligently.
* Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
* Ability to get to site – must have driver’s license or a motorbike licence.
* You will be working 12-hour days, Monday-Thursday, 06:00-18:00.
