Solicitor (Clinical Negligence)
Location: Manchester/ Southport/ Liverpool/ Hybrid
Fletchers Solicitors Ltd has a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Clinical Negligence Team.
Fletchers specialises in Clinical Negligence, and we are looking for someone who wants to play a key role in supporting teams across the department, ensuring that cases are conducted proactively and with a focus on reducing backlogs and creating consistency.
This position involves approximately 25% of work on a small number of cases and 75% supporting other teams. The role is hybrid, with some travel to Manchester, Liverpool, and Southport as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
* Discussing and agreeing case tactics with the Team Leader.
* Progressing cases efficiently and proactively.
* Liaising with clients, experts, barristers, third-party solicitors, and insurers.
* Managing pre- and post-issue procedures cost-effectively.
* Understanding the full case lifecycle across different quantum bands and specialisms.
* Pursuing cases to conclusion.
* Delivering excellent client service and legal outcomes.
* Monitoring KPIs and case progression using data.
* Using case management systems and dashboards effectively.
* Supervising and developing junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Versatility to handle cases from others and focus on key points.
* Ability to adapt to unknown cases and progress them.
* Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
* Teamwork skills and adaptability to change.
* Strong attention to detail.
Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience:
* Legal qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience with Proclaim or other case management systems.
