Salary: £444.60 £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
Are you passionate about shaping the very first steps of a child s education? A welcoming primary school in Wallsend is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who loves play-based learning, can support children with additional needs, and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Support engaging, play-based learning activities in the EYFS classroom
* Work with teachers to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment
* Provide additional support for pupils with SEND, helping them thrive
* Assist in preparing resources and delivering group and one-to-one activities
* Be a caring, reliable role model for children during these crucial years
Qualifications
* Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Experience supporting early years or primary-aged children
* Confidence working with pupils with SEND
* A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to child development
* A proactive team player who can adapt to classroom needs
