We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This will be 9 month to 12month fixed term contract as maternity cover. Working Hours & Location Location Bamber Bridge Hours of work 40 hours per week What We Offer 25 Days Holiday Allowance plus bank holidays Company Car Grade 2 Pension and Death in Service About The Role Responsibilities – but not limited to: Contractual knowledge to communicate with relevant parties ensure understanding the terms of contract. Work efficiently and calmly to tight deadlines or other stress factors as they arise. Ensure maximum recovery of all contractual entitlements. Use of performance data to identify opportunities and implement commercial processes to ensure contractual entitlements and opportunities are realised. Working closely with the Operational team Ensuring proper contractual administration of contract assigned, including value and cost control, and maintenance of records. Accurately value works undertaken and where necessary provide records to substantiate cost to allow prompt issue of Application for payment/invoice in line with contractual timescales Support development of individuals within the commercial team. Accepts extra duties as situations arise. Management of Subcontract Accounts. Skills And Behaviours HNC in Quantity Surveying would be advantageous Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying or similar advantageous Minimum 5 years’ experience in utilities or civils industry desirable Experience in QS role or Senior Commercial role Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, Advanced Excel skills essential Strong commercial and financial acumen Strong knowledge of contracts Strong desire to maintain client relationships whilst not compromising contractual entitlement Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Lanes Group?
