Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a QA Architect to join their Cybersecurity Technology and Engineering function. This role will play a key part in defining and driving the Testing Strategy, QA maturity frameworks, and standards across Cyber as part of a central Professional Testing Practice. The position requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can influence enterprise-wide testing practices, enhance quality engineering capabilities, and support secure delivery across a complex, global environment.
What you will do:
* Define and deliver testing strategy, QA maturity framework, and QA standards across Cyber.
* Establish frameworks, processes, methodologies, and tooling to support consistent testing practices.
* Lead maturity assessments and define remediation plans to achieve target QA maturity levels.
* Drive adoption of automated testing practices across engineering teams.
* Determine appropriate levels of performance and stress testing for applications.
* Support both in-house and third-party application testing approaches.
* Collaborate with QA leadership to implement the Cyber QA practice vision.
* Develop and deliver training programs for QA professionals and testing practice members.
* Monitor adoption and effective usage of QA tools across teams.
* Define standards for testing evidence to support audit and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with testing standards and provide metrics and dashboards to track adoption.
* Establish and track KPIs and OKRs to measure quality, delivery performance, and process efficiency.
* Engage with stakeholders across cybersecurity teams, control owners, and business units to drive alignment.
* Provide guidance on Agile and DevSecOps testing practices and processes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience defining and delivering enterprise testing strategies and QA governance frameworks.
* Strong experience aligning testing strategy with business objectives across multiple teams and regions.
* Extensive QA experience, including leadership roles such as QA Architect or QA Manager.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build partnerships across teams.
* Experience analysing data and presenting insights, including trend analysis and identification of outliers.
* Solid understanding of Agile development and DevSecOps practices, including associated metrics and workflows.
* Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.
* Strong communication skills with experience facilitating workshops and producing best practice documentation.
* Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
* Demonstrated leadership mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and change management.
