A leading global provider of ejection seats and related safety equipment is seeking a CNC Application Engineer or CNC Programmer to join their business following the internal promotion of an employee.

The role
As the CNC Application Engineer, also called CNC Programmer, you will be required to support a wide range of manufacturing processes in a small batch environment, operating to high standards of quality and customer care, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvements in design for manufacturing processes, optimising machine usage at all times.
Duties will include;
12. Supporting manufacturing activities of existing and new products, ensuring the application of current technologies and modern manufacturing are implemented.
13. Supporting a strategy for Lean Design relating to Manufacturing.
14. Participating in the selection of new CNC machines/tooling requirements, ensuring Martin-Baker maintains technical expertise to mitigate future risks.
15. Supporting installations and commissioning of plant to ensure minimal business risks.
16. Providing advice and support with engineering/technical and further matters, continuously sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
17. Following best practices for CNC programming, prove out, update and amendments of parts.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and 8am-12pm on a Friday.
