About Our Client

Job Description
Some of your responsibilities will be to support the Deputy Director of Finance in the:
3. Preparation of the annual budget as directed
4. Preparation of the annual forward financial forecasts as directed
5. Preparation of the statutory accounts and year end returns as directed
6. Annual audit process both External and Internal
7. Coordination of the annual capital expenditure bidding process
8. Preparation of regular accurate data for statutory returns. This includes but is not limited to HESA, TRAC, OSCR, SFC, ONS Returns; FOI Requests; ad hoc requests for information
9. Supporting budget managers in specific management accounting tasks including the production of business cases and where necessary support the preparation of bid documentation for project funds
10. Production of the annual Financial KPIs
11. System implementations
12. Scenario planning and the development of finance projections for strategic projects
13. Overseeing the credit control function
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
14. Part Qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification
15. Experience working within a finance office/accounting environment
16. Excellent interpersonal Skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
17. Excellent organisational skills, including ability to handle a number of complex tasks at the same time.
18. Experience of working both within an unsupervised role and as part of a team.
19. Experience of working to tight deadlines and multi-tasking
20. Ability to analyse/interpret data and take appropriate action.
