Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our client to cook food for their residents. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals that cater to the dietary needs of older adults and individuals with health conditions. Your work will directly support residents’ health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks) for residents.

Design weekly menus that are varied, seasonal, and meet residents’ dietary requirements.

Prepare meals according to special dietary needs (e.g. diabetic, soft foods, low-salt, gluten-free, vegetarian).

Ensure kitchen hygiene standards and food safety protocols are strictly followed at all times.

Maintain accurate records including temperature checks, cleaning schedules, and allergen information.

Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and monitor food stock to minimize waste.

Collaborate with care staff to understand individual residents' preferences and nutritional needs.

Participate in meal-related activities and events, such as themed dinners or holiday celebrations.
