Job Title: CAD Designer – SolidWorks
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
KO2s client, a leader in the manufacture of high-quality electronic machines used around the globe is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CAD designer who is strong with SolidWorks who is looking to work closely within a small design team and have an impact in future product developments and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop design concepts from artistic impression through to CNC programming for manufacturing
* Convert legacy 2D drawings to SolidWorks models
* Create CNC router programming data for production of component parts
* Translate CAD designs into effective CNC programs
* Produce detailed product specifications and technical data to support Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
* Collaborate with Technical Services to develop solutions for installation and presentation of new/updated hardware
* Generate BOMs and documentation to support commercial functions
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience with SolidWorks, with CAD and CAM skills
* Working knowledge of electrical/electronic design interfaces is beneficial
* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* A team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve results
