The role

With a bold vision and a significant digital transformation underway, the business is seeking an Interim Chief Technology Officer to lead one of the most pivotal change programmes in its long history.
This is an opportunity to deliver transformation at scale — modernising platforms, re-architecting enterprise systems, embedding AI and automation — while shaping a high-performing technology function. Though starting as an interim mandate, there is a strong likelihood of conversion to a permanent appointment within the first six months, giving the successful candidate the platform to define long-term digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead an enterprise-wide technology transformation, with accountability for delivering change at pace and at scale.
* Oversee ERP migration and implementation, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring resilience and long-term capability.
* Act as a trusted, authoritative voice at Executive Board level, translating technology vision into measurable business outcomes.
* Provide strategic leadership across all areas of technology including:
* Business Intelligence & Data
– driving insight-led decision making.
* Cyber Security
– ensuring enterprise-grade protection and resilience.
* Architecture
– shaping scalable, modern digital infrastructure.
* IT Services
– ensuring seamless, reliable service delivery across the organisation.
* Identify and embed AI and automation opportunities to drive enterprise performance.
* Inspire and develop a high-performing team, embedding best practice, clarity, and accountability across the function.
Candidate Profile
* A proven technology leader with success delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation.
* Significant experience leading ERP transitions, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics.
* Demonstrated leadership across BI, data, cyber security, architecture, and IT services.
* Exceptional communicator with gravitas at Board level and the ability to influence at the most senior levels.
* Strong market connectivity and proven expertise in AI automation and enterprise innovation.
* Resilient, pragmatic, and commercially minded, with the vision to position technology as a true business enabler.
Package
* Salary: £200,000 – £250,000
* Discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package
* 12-month interim assignment with strong (75%+) likelihood of permanent appointment subject to excellent performance.
