Maintenance Engineer - Bristol
£42,000 - £48,000
Monday - Friday days + Plenty of overtime
Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long-term machine reliability.
2. Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer's plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively.
3. Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S.
4. Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems.
5. Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
6. Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained.
2. Continuous improvement knowledge.
3. Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
4. Experience in Engineering, manufacturing, or production environments.
