Chemring Energetics provide products based on energetic materials (explosive, propellant) for defence, security and commercial markets. Our 400-acre upper-tier COMAH site employs approximately 325 highly skilled professionals and is equipped for design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and through-life support of advanced energetic technologies.
Driven by exciting growth, we are seeking a Head of Process Engineering to take on a pivotal role, reporting to the Operations Director.
With a strong background in process and manufacturing engineering and proven excellence in technical and leadership roles, this new position provides the platform to leave your mark on a thriving, high-growth company.
Key contribution overview:
·Leadership of the Process Engineering function and management team ensuring engineering processes are optimised to meet increased product growth
·Leadership and technical guidance for supporting existing products, ensuring compliance with all relevant specifications and standards including risk assessments, HAZOP studies equipment optimisation etc
·Delivery of strategic plans for the Technical Process Engineering functions, ensuring the achievement of KPIs and deliverables aligned with business objectives
As a senior leader with a solid grounding in technical, engineering, and manufacturing, you will bring a passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement to this role.
