HR Business Partner | PE-Backed National Group | ER-Focused Strategic Role
* Andover, Hybrid working 3 days on site, flexibility required to meet business needs

As they continue to evolve and grow, they’re seeking a commercially astute and confident HR Business Partner to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping their people strategy.
Job Purpose
This is a strategic HR partnering role, designed to deliver professional, timely and pragmatic support across the business. You’ll build strong relationships with managers and employees, offering risk-assessed, compliant advice aligned with the company’s culture and commercial goals. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to supporting Employee Relations, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ER-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with managers at all levels, including TLs and SMT, providing expert guidance on ER matters and performance management.
* Deliver timely, professional guidance on HR policy, procedures, benefits.
* Support organisational change initiatives including restructure.
* Contribute to, and implement HR projects of varying complexity.
* Upskill managers through coaching and tailored development support.
* Collaborate with L&D to create training materials for ER topics.
* Review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and relevance.
* Liaise with Payroll to ensure accurate data flow and mitigate ER risks.
* Analyse HR data, produce analytical reporting
* Use HRIS effectively to manage and report on employee data.
Additional Info
This role will require travel to regional sites, with occasional overnight stays as needed to support commercial activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree-level education or equivalent.
* CIPD Level 5 (ideally with Employment Law module).
* Proven expertise in employment law and ER case management with successful resolution skills.
* Strong policy writing and coaching skills.
* Collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder engagement.
* Adaptable communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Proactive, commercially minded and solutions focused.
* Recognising risk, and professional boundaries.
* Analytical thinker with strategic vision and attention to detail.
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in HRIS and MS Office.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
