Overview
We are looking for a Shift Manager to work across our Restaurants & Quick Service department here at Bognor Regis. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are carried out by the team and that the team are in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while keeping operational standards and guest experience high.
You will support and coach the team to ensure the delivery of a great experience and are also driving any key targets such as add on sales or promotions. This is an operational guest facing role and therefore all non-guest facing tasks and activity will be allocated as time within your working week to allow you to spend the majority of your time within your venue and with our guests.
This role covers a 40 hour, 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. You will work a variety of shift patterns between 6am - 3am. As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
Responsibilities
* Ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled and that tasks and objectives are carried out by the team.
* Manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining operational standards and guest experience.
* Support and coach the team to deliver a great guest experience and drive targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
* Allocate time for non-guest facing tasks to enable you to spend most of your time in venue with guests.
* Operate across a 40 hour, 5-day week with flexible shift patterns between 6am and 3am.
* Adapt to varying situations and think on your feet to keep guest experience as the top priority.
About You
* Experienced leader from within a volume-led F&B or branded fast-food environment, or capable of supporting the team to deliver excellent service.
* Experience in training and coaching the team in a fast-paced environment to deliver an excellent experience and uphold brand standards.
* Experience leading within a volume-led restaurant or fast-food environment where speed and quality balance is important; able to direct and respond in any situation while maintaining consistent brand standards.
* Ability to lead, motivate and engage the team, even at periods of high demand, and to manage multiple priorities with adaptability.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire the team to deliver outstanding results for both colleagues and guests.
