Introducing Rosie
Born in 1990, Rosie lives independently. She enjoys clothes shopping and going out for coffee. She has epilepsy, learning difficulties, and a visual impairment due to a head injury. She needs one-to-one support for personal, domestic, and social needs, including supervision for epilepsy.
Role of the Team Leader
Assist Rosie to live a full, active life, promoting independence. Manage a team of 1:1 support workers, rotas, inductions, appraisals, and training. Ensure high-quality, safe, care, and handle on-call duties.
Support Worker Responsibilities
Assist Rosie with daily life skills, activities at City Farm, and maintaining her home. Support her in social activities and help with domestic chores. Be prepared to assist with these tasks to ensure smooth home operation.

Support and Recruitment
Case Managers oversee care. Recruitment supports initial interviews, trial shifts, and placements. Successful candidates are employed directly by clients or their deputies, with day-to-day employment managed by ILS.
Minimum Requirements
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in caring for adults with disabilities
* Experience of and qualifications in epilepsy
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Ability to formulate care plans and rotas
* Effective written communication

* Flexibility and initiative

Additional benefits include training, support, annual leave, pension, sick leave, and free DBS check. The role involves 30 hours of team leader duties and approximately 68 support hours per month, including some weekend shifts. Pay ranges from £16 to £19.63 per hour, with sleep nights paid at the National Living Wage. Some shifts may be at short notice.
