The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining accurate financial records, including payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations
* Processing monthly payroll and month-end journals such as accruals and prepayments
* Supporting clients using cloud accounting software, mainly Xero and QuickBooks
* Preparing monthly management accounts with full reconciliation of balance sheet controls
* Assisting with VAT return preparation, ensuring compliance with Making Tax Digital
* Providing ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support the wider finance team
* Analyzing job time tracking and preparing client fee drafts
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A bookkeeping qualification or be part-qualified (IATI) with professional services experience
* A solid understanding of accounting principles and strong attention to detail
* Proficiency in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks) and related add-ons
* Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions
* Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
