The Global Reward Centre of Excellence (COE) team has responsibility for designing global reward policies and philosophy for AXA XL, including the annual cycle process design, calendar and communications, AXA Group standards and governance, Long Term Incentive Design/Administration and Executive Compensation Review. The team also provides client coverage to our global and corporate function business areas and oversees our regional business unit total reward teams to ensure consistent execution and delivery of AXA XL’s Total Reward programmes and initiatives.


What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?


Project Management

* Lead and manage end‑to‑end total reward projects, including job architecture, communications and operational excellence.
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines and stakeholder engagement strategies.
* Ensure timely delivery of reward initiatives across multiple geographies.


Global Compensation Strategy

* Support development and execution of global compensation frameworks, including base pay, variable pay and equity programmes.
* Partner with regional HR teams to ensure local relevance and regulatory compliance.


Stakeholder Management

* Partner with HR, Finance, Legal and business leaders to understand needs and priorities.
* Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders to share updates, gather input and manage expectations.
* Build trust and alignment across regions and functions.


Risk & Compliance

* Ensure projects and processes are compliant with regulations, internal audit and risk processes.


Total Rewards Policies and Processes

* Continuous review and improvement of policies, processes, practices and guidelines to ensure global consistency.
* Development of new policies and guidelines as required.


Governance

* Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure adherence and implementation of project governance, reporting timelines, budgets and resource planning.


Compensation Partnering

* Provide compensation consulting and thought leadership on reward policies and procedures, philosophy, internal and external market positioning, job evaluation and other aspects of compensation, ensuring clients effectively recruit and retain top talent.
* Support annual cycle planning and execution as the primary contact for HR Business Partners and respective Leadership Team members in your client group.
* Owner of promotion and international mobility case management processes.
* Perform complex analyses and present findings to HR Business Partners and managers to facilitate talent and reward decisions.
* Consult with HR Business Partners, Recruiting and Managers to create competitive offer packages for key strategic hires.
* Partner Regional Reward teams to ensure consistent execution and delivery of AXA XL’s global reward policies and philosophy.
* Assess market conditions and pay practices to ensure competitiveness of compensation programmes. Regularly collaborate with internal HR clients, COEs and multidisciplinary senior‑level leaders.


What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

* Proven international expertise and overall knowledge in Compensation & Benefits.
* Effective technical knowledge, solid governance and stakeholder management required for coordination and supervision, continuous planning, problem‑solving and networking.
* Ability to work independently and lead initiatives as needed.
* Developed Project & Change management skills.
* People Management: indirect management skills to secure right support for project delivery.
* Excellent relationship, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
* Proven ethics with high level of commitment, judgement and influence at senior levels including negotiations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, consultative/client service skills.
* Not afraid to challenge the status quo to simplify processes.
* Result‑oriented: quality and fast delivery mindset, especially.
* Detailed analytical skills with ability to act as expert and counsel.
* Preferred fluency in French and English.
* Experience working within a globally matrixed organisation.
