Stonewaters' vision is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to have a place they can call home. Stock condition surveys are essential to delivering this vision and ensuring our homes are safe, warm, and secure. To meet this goal, Stonewater is establishing a new national stock condition team to lead property assessments.
This is an excellent opportunity for housing and property professionals to join a new team, setting standards for data collection and informing investment decisions for the next 30 years.
As an independent surveyor, you will deliver stock condition surveys across a specified area, visiting residents, and collecting accurate data on their homes. You will liaise with residents, leaseholders, housing management, customer services, and other agencies to ensure homes and communal areas are safe, warm, and secure by recording hazards, safety concerns, and repairs identified during surveys.
You will contribute to improving Stonewater's stock condition strategies and update housing stock information to support compliance with standards like the Decent Homes Standard. Continuous professional development is vital, and you will stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and legislation related to construction and housing.

* Have proven knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard, component lifecycles, HHSRS Rating system, and domestic building construction methods and faults.
