Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide therapy services at our facility. The counselor will have the flexibility to incorporate nature-based approaches into sessions and, if desired, integrate equine-assisted therapy with the support of our staff and resources.
Responsibilities
* Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients and families.
* Develop treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals.
* Incorporate nature-based therapeutic approaches; optional integration of equine-assisted therapy.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support holistic care.
* Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
* Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Qualifications
* Must hold an active license as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
* Experience providing therapy to patients and families.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Interest in nature-based therapy approaches; equine experience is optional.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a therapeutic team.
Schedule & Compensation
* Flexible scheduling options (part-time or full-time).
