Purpose of Role

Vinci Facilities is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities services on a prestigious Defence contract covering multiple properties within the London area.

Job Description

This is a key technical role requiring strong leadership, a solid background in building services, and the ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance operations to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

* Oversee and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
* Manage and monitor sub-contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of services.
* Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
* Manage and approve temporary works as part of maintenance and project activities.
* Monitor asset performance and implement strategies to improve reliability and lifecycle value.
* Liaise with the client and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Maintain compliance with Defence sector regulations, site access protocols, and security requirements

Essential Qualifications/Skills

* Strong technical background in building services or engineering (mechanical/electrical preferred).
* Proven experience delivering facilities management on complex or secure sites – Defence sector experience highly desirable.
* Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) qualification or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrable experience in sub-contractor management and contract performance monitoring.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Good understanding of statutory compliance, risk management, and maintenance best practices.
* Eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain security clearance as required by the client.
