What Will a Day in the Life of a Shop Manager Involve?
* Leading a team to provide a great shopping experience for customers.
* Working on the shop floor and coordinating behind-the-scenes activities—no two days are the same.
* Designing an inviting layout that connects customers to our cause.
* Achieving financial targets and managing staff and volunteers.
* Representing the British Red Cross and embodying our core values.
What Do You Need to Be a Successful Shop Manager?
* Retail experience at supervisory level, with excellent customer service skills and organizational abilities.
* Proven management skills to develop and inspire your team.
* An entrepreneurial spirit capable of working towards targets and using initiative.
* Good IT skills and familiarity with PC operations.
* A genuine passion for the British Red Cross cause and the ability to promote the shop locally.
