The Governing Board are looking to appoint a clerk.

Type of Contract - All Year Round, Part-Time & Permanent Position.

Hours – 120 hours per year

Salary - BG8, £28,163 per annum pro rata (£14.60 per hour).

We wish to appoint an experienced administrator to fulfil the post of Clerk to Avonmouth CE Primary School Governing Body.

This will involve setting agendas, taking the minutes at full Governing Body meetings and committee meetings, all of which are held on Mondays in the afternoon & early evening. You will also need to complete other administrative tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the governing body.

Most of the tasks can be completed remotely, meetings are held in school or via Microsoft Teams.

You will be required to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills as well as good organisational skills.
