Diagnostic Technician Location: Canterbury Salary: £39,467 Basic Bonus OTE £51,467 Working Hours: 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis Ref: 30826 We have a new opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join a busy main dealership in Canterbury. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with strong diagnostic skills who is looking to further develop their career with ongoing manufacturer training and excellent earning potential. Diagnostic Technician Company Benefits £39,467 basic salary with OTE of £51,467 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service) Company pension scheme Life assurance and tool insurance Discounts on vehicle purchases, servicing and parts Employee wellbeing programme and lifestyle discounts Ongoing manufacturer training, including EV and Hybrid accreditation Excellent career progression opportunities Diagnostic Technician Role Carry out advanced diagnostics, repairs and warranty work to manufacturer standards Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults using specialist equipment Complete EV and hydraulic repairs where qualified Support and mentor Apprentice Technicians when required Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard Maintain accurate job records and work collaboratively with the workshop team Diagnostic Technician Requirements Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Recognised Diagnostic qualification Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or brand-qualified Vehicle Technician Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high quality standards Full UK Driving Licence preferred Please note all applications will be handled confidentially.
