Experior Asia is partnering with a well-established international secondary school in Hong Kong seeking an experienced and passionate Psychology Teacher. Starting in August 2026.
You will be responsible for delivering Psychology at A Level (or equivalent) ensuring strong academic outcomes while fostering intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging A Level Psychology lessons
* Prepare students effectively for public examinations
* Develop schemes of work and assessment materials aligned with examination board requirements
* Monitor student progress and provide targeted academic support
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
* Support university applications where relevant
* Participate fully in school life, including pastoral responsibilities and co-curricular activities
Requirements
We are seeking a committed professional who combines subject expertise with strong classroom practice.
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Psychology at A Level
* Strong understanding of examination standards and assessment criteria
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Fluent English speaker
Desirable
* Experience teaching within a UK curriculum framework
* International school experience
* Proven track record of strong examination results
* Ability to contribute to another Humanities or Social Science subject
