We're looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside.
As a Communications and Engagement Manager at Double Eleven, you'll report to and support the Head of Communications in strengthening the Double Eleven brand, building connections that support our long-term vision and tell our story across a range of audiences. You'll be responsible for the balance of internal communications with external facing PR and media engagements, ensuring alignment with our values, vision and tone of voice.

What you'll be doing
* Act as the first point of contact for all media enquiries, maintaining and managing and up to date media database
* Draft, approve and distribute press releases in line with business objectives and brand positioning
* Support and deliver internal communications, including town halls, newsletters and company wide updates
* Create, curate and amplify engaging content across internal and external communication channels
* Monitor digital and social media engagement, analysing performance and providing insight-led recommendations for improvement
* Plan and manage events that support brand awareness, engagement and commercial objectives
* Contribute to the development and delivery of CSR initiatives, including community and charity partnerships
What we're looking for
* Calm and adaptable under pressure, able to quickly reframe messaging without losing clarity or impact
* Skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing senior leaders, peers, and teams through clear thinking and compelling storytelling
* Naturally curious and empathetic, using audience insights to craft messaging that truly resonates
* Strong understanding of PR best practices, including media relations, pitching stories, and securing positive coverage
* Experienced first point of contact for media enquiries, handling requests confidently and diplomatically
* Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging internal communications across multiple channels that reflect company culture and values
* Data-savvy, interpreting performance metrics to refine campaigns and demonstrate impact
* Knowledgeable in managing sensitive or urgent communications, supporting change, and protecting reputation during uncertain times
* Hands-on experience producing high-quality content (written, visual, digital) and planning events that support business goals
* Skilled at building and maintaining external partnerships with charities, community groups, and suppliers to enhance engagement and brand reputation
