As aSous Chef,you are responsible for taking control and accountability of the Kitchen department while ensuring that standards are delivered at all times. We are seeking adedicatedindividual capable ofdeveloping their teamin line with the long term goals of the overall Food and Beverage Department alongside the existing Sous Chef. This is afantastic opportunityfor a chef looking for realgrowth and developmentopportunities.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
·Assist inleading a team of chefsand creating a teamwork driven environment which promotes great employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in their work.
·Have apassionto bring a creative flare to menu changes and new dishes.
·To assist in ensuring theprofitability of food operations, this to include ensuring food stock-takes are carried out as required.
·To assist with maintaining andconstant improvementof departmental operating standards. This to include product/ menu development and menu specifications.
·To evaluate and act promptly and effectively oncustomer feedbackreceived through any and all channels to achievepositive and consistent results.
·Always maintain exceptionallyhigh cleanliness standardsin outlets.
·To be proficient in complying with statutory and Company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, and other legislation and ensure your team are trained to meet the above requirements.
· Banqueting experience is not essential however would be favourable.
