Teaching Personnel are working closely with secondary schools in the Havant area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN PE Teacher for a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of additional needs, ensuring all pupils can access and enjoy PE
* Support pupils’ physical development, confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with SEN staff, teaching assistants, and wider school teams
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching PE at secondary level (SEN experience desirable but not essential)
* A strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
Safeguarding Requirements:
* An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
