Job Title: 3rd Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Fleet - Hybrid - 3 Days in Office (NON-Negotiable)
Type: Permanent
We're looking for an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team and play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and improving the company's IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
What you'll be doing:
* Acting as an escalation point for complex IT incidents and service requests.
* Providing technical support across software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
* Working on IT projects and supporting business transformation initiatives.
* Maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMWare / Hyper-V).
* Supporting ITSM processes including incident, change, and problem management.
* Assisting with cyber security best practices alongside the IT Security team.
* Mentoring and training 1st and 2nd line engineers.
What you'll bring:
* 5+ years of experience in IT support, ideally at 3rd line level.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
* Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
* Hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMWare / Hyper‑V).
* PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
* Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM tools such as JIRA or Freshservice.
* Solid understanding of networking, security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
