Overview
My client, an award-winning and growing food and drink manufacturing company based in Somerset, is seeking a talented Production Manager / Process Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and lead operational teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.
2. Develop individuals and teams through effective leadership and engagement.
3. Implement and support lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as BRCGS, HACCP, and NEBOSH (or be willing to attain certifications).
5. Manage production processes, including liquid manufacturing, with an understanding of critical control points.
6. Maintain and manage budgets effectively.
7. Utilize excellent computer skills to support operational activities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Management experience in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
* Understanding of production processes and lean methodologies.
* Level 3 Food Hygiene and HACCP Level 3 certifications; NEBOSH qualification preferred or willingness to work towards.
* Experience with liquid processing is advantageous.
* Strong leadership, self-motivation, and proactive mindset.
* Excellent communication and team engagement skills.
