A-Level Chemistry Teacher – Yate Area (January 2026 Start)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Chemistry Teacher to join a fully comprehensive secondary school in the Yate area from January 2026.
Rated ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection, the school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong community reputation, and commitment to student wellbeing. This role is expected to last for at least one term, with the potential to be extended.

The Role
As a KS5 Chemistry Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
* Managing behaviour effectively to create a safe, supportive learning environment
* Marking and assessing student work with constructive feedback
* Liaising with staff and parents to support student progress
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching Science at KS5, particularly A-Level Chemistry
* A genuine passion for teaching and improving student outcomes
* Reliable transport to the Yate area – driving is preferred, but other dependable transport methods are fine
