This is a consultative, technical field sales opportunity representing a business renowned for engineering excellence, product quality, and pioneering technology. The company continues to invest heavily in innovation, automation, and advanced manufacturing techniques, giving their sales engineers a highly credible and respected solution portfolio to take to market.

Due to continued growth and strategic expansion across the UK, they are now seeking a dynamic and technically minded Field Sales Engineer to manage and develop the UK central south

The Opportunity

As Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with OEMs, machine builders, systems integrators, advanced manufacturers, and key industrial end users across a broad range of sectors including:

Automation

This is a highly consultative engineering sales role where you will work closely with customers to understand complex applications, identify technical challenges, and deliver high-performance engineered solutions that genuinely add value.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow sales across the UK South territory
Identify and win new business opportunities within OEMs and industrial manufacturing
Manage and develop existing key accounts
Build strong technical relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and senior decision makers
Provide consultative engineering support and product recommendations
Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and solution discussions
Work collaboratively with internal technical and customer support teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry opportunities
Create strategic territory development plans
Maintain CRM activity and pipeline management

Candidate Requirements

A background in Mechanical Engineering, CNC, Manufacturing or qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar

* Proven track record within technical field sales or engineering sales or application engineering
* Strong engineering mindset with the ability to sell consultatively
* Experience within industrial, mechanical, automation, or manufacturing sectors
* Knowledge of precision engineered components, transmission products, automation xsngvjr technology, electromechanical systems, or related engineered solutions would be highly advantageous
* Ability to communicate confidently with both engineers and commercial stakeholders
* Self-motivated, driven, and commercially astute
* Strong relationship-building and territory development skills
