Overview
We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 14 year old male who has autism. Ideally, the candidate would have experience in this area, but we are happy to discuss at interview.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and accompany the client on activities such as swimming, crazy golf, and getting out of the house.
* Suggest ideas and listen to the client’s likes and dislikes.
* Social activity assistance and supervision to keep safe during activities.
* Support the client during activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Caring attitude, patience, reliability, and a positive and flexible approach to work.
* Enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) is required for this role.
