Administration Assistant
Location: Goodson Lodge, Trowbridge, BA14 7JG
Pay rate: £12.54 (Mon-Fri), £13.54 (Sat-Sun)
Contracted Hours: 28.5 Hours per week


ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll support the Home Manager with reception, administrative, and basic finance activities to ensure the smooth running of the home. As the first point of contact, you’ll demonstrate a professional and welcoming manner to visitors, residents, and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring visitors follow infection control rules, coordinating testing, organizing couriers, and other administrative tasks.

You will also assist with planning and managing events within the home, including celebrating residents’ milestone birthdays, fetes, employee presentations, and activities organized by our Activities Coordinator. ABOUT YOU

You should have previous administrative or reception experience, be confident with Microsoft Office, and have experience handling cash and maintaining reports. GCSEs in Maths and English are preferred. Most importantly, you should be comfortable working in an elderly care setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role is busy and varied, requiring efficiency, organization, initiative, and sensitivity when relating to residents.
