Location: Newperran Holiday Resort, Newquay TR8 5QJ

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, permanent contract. Weekends required

Salary: £36,050 Basic- OTE £52,000!

We’re looking for a driven Holiday Home Selling Sales Manager at our beautiful Newperran Holiday Park!

Who are we?

Away Resorts are shaking up the industry and setting the new standards for what to expect from a UK Holiday Park. With 27 parks and resorts around the UK, our Parks are jaw dropping not only in its views but also what it offers our Guests.

We are famous for our Accommodation, from exclusive units you will only find at Away Resorts, down to our own bespoke scent. Our attention to detail is second to none, so much so, that when our Guests open the door, they go “Wow!” However, what really makes us special is our Team of people making all this happen, we are a growing business and are now on the lookout for a Guest Experience Manager that cares about their Teams and Guests as much as we do!

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be ensuring the Holiday Home Sales team achieve budget. You will also be championing the use of innovative technology as well as ensuring the new owner experience is outstanding. In more detail, this includes:

14. Providing an amazing customer service experience to our owners
15. Overseeing the aftersales process, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly
16. Promoting and facilitating a transparent, honest sales process in line with our company values
17. Looking for new and creative ways to generate leads through CGI and VR, pioneering a new experience for holiday home buyers
18. Taking ownership of the sales journey, even after completion, so that new owners can be confident their purchase lives up to the sales promise

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need

We are looking for a high-calibre manager who can demonstrate the following:

19. A good level of general education
20. At least 2 years holiday home sales management experience
21. Excellent leadership and motivational skills
22. Ability to manage performance issues and conflict situations with confidence and empathy
23. Exceptional communication skills and able to adapt style to people at all levels
24. A strategic mindset and a forward-thinking outlook, open to new ideas
25. A strong focus on customer service delivery

It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential, if you have an NVQ in hospitality, customer services or tourism, have worked in a similar role on a holiday park and have coaching and mentoring experience.

We have a can-do, people-centred ethos at Away Resorts, and we look for certain qualities in our team members. Have a read about it and see if you fit the bill.

Nice to have but not essential

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t)

26. Previous experience in selling holiday homes or similar high-value products.
27. Demonstrated success in outbound sales calls to engage potential customers and secure appointments.
28. Strong background in a target-driven sales environment, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.

Whatever your experience, we will provide great training to ensure you can guide your customers from start to finish, always putting yourself in their shoes.
