Salary: £26,208 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a welcoming residential care home in Stocksbridge, Sheffield (S36).
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys creating fresh, nutritious meals and understands the important role food plays in the wellbeing of residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking high-quality meals for residents
* Catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional requirements
* Ensuring meals are presented to a high standard
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
* Assisting with stock control and food ordering
* Completing food safety and compliance documentation
* Working closely with the care team to support residents' needs
* Ensuring all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures are followed
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook within a care home
* Good understanding of dietary requirements for elderly residents
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy service
* Reliable, organised and professional approach
