* Location: Corn Mill Court, St John’s Street, Galashiels, Scottish Borders TD1 3JY
* Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
* Availability: Flexible shifts – morning and back shifts with alternate weekends
* Guaranteed Hours: 20.25 hours per week over an average 4 days on a rolling two‑week rota basis, a mix of weekdays and weekends, day and back shifts
* Job Type: Permanent contract

Care & Support Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate:
* Has experience in the care sector and working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, understanding their needs and how to meet them
* Holds an SVQ in Health and Social Care or a relevant qualification
* Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills
* Possesses basic IT skills
Previous experience is preferred but not essential; we provide comprehensive training and support. What matters most is your passion, empathy and dedication to helping our tenants live their lives to the fullest.

Successful candidates will need to register with the SSSC, complete mandatory training within a timeframe and, if not already holding an SVQ in Care & Support, commit to studying for the qualification.
