Supporting industries such as aerospace, medical, power generation, and motor sports by solving complex manufacturing challenges and improving process efficiency.
The client would also be open to a CNC Miller who would like to transition into grinding.
About the Role With your engineering background You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 5/6 axis CNC grinding machines-primarily Walter Helitronic and Rollomatic Tool & Cutter Grinders.
You'll also work with Helicheck inspection systems and be involved in wheel dressing and balancing.

Hours of work When you start you will be required to work: (Monday to Thursday
- 38 hours)
- during training Monday 9am to 7pm Tuesday and Wednesday 7am to 7pm Thursday 7am to 1pm The position will then move onto (Thursday to Sunday
- 38 hours) Thursday 1pm to 7pm Friday and Saturday 7am to 7pm Sunday 7am to 5pm Duties of a CNC Grinder Setter Operator Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to produce precision carbide tooling Maintain product specifications and inspect output using appropriate measuring equipment Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues Experience Required for a CNC Grinder Setter Operator Minimum 4 years of 5 axis machining / setting experience, tool grinding experience is a definite advantage Ability to read technical drawings and use inspection equipment Time-served apprenticeship preferred, or equivalent experience in engineering Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel; AutoCAD xxuwjjq knowledge a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to diagnose machine issues Benefits for the role We offer a competitive salary and a strong benefits package, including: £39,500 to £47,800 Days (38 hours per week)
