Job: Housekeeping Supervisor at Cowley Manor (Full-Time)
Based in: Cowley, Cheltenham
Reports to: Housekeeping Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* To be passionate and take pride in checking all rooms ensuring they have been cleaned to the standard set by the Hotel.
* To clean rooms, spa and public areas when necessary, setting the standards for all housekeeping staff taking pride in the job. Understanding flexibility and teamwork.
* To prepare the housekeeping work lists.
* To be passionate and take pride in checking all areas cleaned by the public cleaners.
* To maintain correct stock levels in housekeeping stores and check that it is stored correctly.
* To be passionate in training housekeeping staff as required in duties and on equipment use.
* To make up Housekeeping General Assistant's store orders as required.
* To action and be confident in the upkeep of any housekeeping paperwork.
* To assist in the linen room when required, understanding flexibility and teamwork.
* To be responsible and take ownership for the issue and collection of keys.
* To deal with any lost property requests.
* To take ownership and deputise in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
* To liaise with Reception on any rooms or guest's requirements.
* To report any maintenance faults.
ABOUT YOU
* Experience in a similar role within a comparable venue.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Be well spoken with excellent communication skills.
* Attention to details and customer needs.
* Social, engaging, and motivated.
* Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
* Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
