Salary: DOE £40,000 - £60-000
Working Pattern: Full-time
A well-established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking high-quality work, autonomy over cases and long-term career development within a supportive environment.
The Role
You will manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, handling files from initial instruction through to resolution, including litigated cases.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims
Conducting case assessments, investigations and legal research
Advising clients on complex and sensitive clinical negligence issues
Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documentation
Managing litigation in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols
Liaising with clients, counsel, medical experts and third parties
Attending conferences, mediations and court hearings where required
Ensuring high standards of client care and file management
About You
Qualified Solicitor
Experience in clinical negligence litigation (PQE level flexible)
Strong understanding of CPR and clinical negligence procedures
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload
Compassionate, client-focused approach
Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
