Prospero Teaching is recruiting Mental Health Support Workers to work across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in Dorset.
You will play a key role in helping pupils manage emotional, social and mental health needs, ensuring they feel supported, safe and ready to learn.
The Role
Providing 1:1 and small‑group emotional wellbeing supportSupporting pupils with anxiety, low mood, trauma or social difficultiesHelping students develop coping strategies and resilienceWorking with pastoral, SEN and safeguarding teamsMonitoring pupil progress and wellbeingPromoting a positive, inclusive school environmentWho We’re Looking For
Experience in mental health, youth work, counselling, SEN or support rolesCalm, patient and empatheticConfident managing sensitive situationsAbility to build trust and positive relationshipsStrong communication and safeguarding awarenessDBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)What We Offer
