The role focuses on completing Tax Incentives & Relief claims, primarily for Owner Managed Businesses. The individual will review financial and technical reports for these claims and also review Corporation Tax compliance work, with all necessary training provided.
The key duties include:
1. Supporting the Incentive and Reliefs Team in preparing R&D tax relief claims for clients across the UK.
2. Reviewing technical reports and financial details for various tax incentives and reliefs for manager/partner review.
3. Performing initial reviews of Corporation Tax Computations prepared by Seniors/Executives for final manager review.
4. Updating the internal CRM system with workflow progress, focusing on review and benefit sections.
5. Overseeing internal office relationships with allocated offices.
6. Attending client meetings, especially with new clients.
7. Managing a client portfolio of around 150 clients as the first point of contact.
8. Calculating fees and ensuring they are recorded for billing by month-end.
9. Identifying new opportunities within the offices they oversee.
