About the service
Our Heysham Project supports six individuals in self-contained flats. They have diverse needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, forensic backgrounds and some challenging behaviours. New starters receive thorough training and shadow shifts with experienced team members.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support to individuals to help them achieve personal goals and live full, worthwhile lives.
* Promote choice, healthy lifestyles, independence and safety.
* Support with cooking, daily living tasks, and keeping the living environment clean and comfortable.
* Support community engagement, including activities such as bingo, outings, shopping, bike rides, cinema visits, holidays, and other agreed activities.
* Encourage and enable family involvement and smooth communication with other team members and professionals.
Requirements and Benefits
* No previous experience is required; full training is provided.
* Ideal for personal and professional development.
* Contracts from 15 to 48 hours per week; weekly or monthly pay options.
