Your new role
This is a busy role within the client reporting team where you will collate and deliver financial information. The role is very much focussed on reporting in a commercial finance function. You will be required to work independently but as part of a team and this role would suit someone who can demonstrate initiative and a desire to learn.
Duties will include:
1. Preparation of management accounts
2. Assessing funding requirements
3. Analysis of budget variance and liaison with budget holders on this.
4. Query handling and resolution
5. Balance sheet reconciliations at month end
6. Processing of bank payments and reconciliations.
7. Maintaining open purchase orders and accruals.
8. Other general ad hoc duties for clients and management.
What you'll need:
9. You will be degree qualified with 2 years of experience working in a finance function beyond financial administration and of processing general ledger transactions, prepayments, accruals and journal postings.
10. Very good time management skills in order to manage and meet deadlines.
11. Great attention to detail.
12. Strong communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
13. Competent with Microsoft Excel. *
14. Experience working with financial reporting software.
15. Experience preparing accounts to trial balance
Work Pattern
This is a full time role working on site in Clydebank 35 hours per week. Hybrid working is available once a probation period has been completed.
