Milk Education is working in partnership with several specialist schools in Kirkby, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, committed Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team.
Whether you’re an experienced SEN practitioner or simply passionate about supporting children who need it most – we want to hear from you!
The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
This isn’t your typical classroom role. You’ll be part of a close-knit team in schools that cater to pupils aged 3 to 19 with a wide range of complex needs. You’ll be based in small, nurturing classes of 5–8 pupils, helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
You might be supporting children with:
1. Medical needs such as PEG feeding, epilepsy or sickle cell
2. Physical disabilities
3. Additional cognitive or emotional needs
Your day could include classroom support, one-to-one interactions, personal care, sensory play, communication support, and simply being that trusted, friendly face a child needs to feel safe and understood.
