First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Removals Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. LGV driving
2. Warehouse duties as required
3. Ensuring compliance with driving time directive and legislation
4. Responsible for the legal operation of the vehicle – including locking, parking, cleaning, fuelling etc.
5. Daily checks on vehicle – oil, water, lights, fluids, tires
6. Report on any damage to vehicle or its load
7. Read and receive daily orders
8. Ensure adequate packing materials and equipment are on the van for the day’s job(s)
9. Complete legal and Company documentation
10. Packing assorted household/office goods
11. Transporting household/office goods to/from vehicle
12. Liaising with customer regarding placement of effects and unpacking where required
13. Ensure paperwork for each move is complete and return to general office
14. Carry out further tasks exigent to the circumstances of the Company
Skills and Qualifications:
15. Class 2 Licence
16. Driver CPC Card
17. Digital Tacho Card
18. Physically fit
19. Excellent customer service skills
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up To £29,952 Per Annum
