Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Location : Edinburgh, Midlothian Banding: Band 5 Start date: ASAP Until: 27 June 2025 Duration: 3 months Rate : £ 19 - £ 25 per hour Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm We are looking for a skilled and motivated Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Edinburgh. This role involves working in either the dispensary or ward, with potential responsibilities in Medicines Management Technician (MMT) or Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) roles. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services, ensuring high standards of patient care. What will your responsibilities be : The Band 5 Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role includes providing support to the pharmacy team, assisting with patient queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The technician will also participate in ward rounds, liaise with healthcare professionals, and contribute to the overall improvement of pharmacy services. Qualifications and Experiences: GPHC Registered Pharmacy Technician Experience in dispensary or ward settings Knowledge of MMT or ACT roles Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care How to apply?
