Closing date: 8 June 2025 Recruitment Partner: Matt Haywood - matt.haywood@boots.co.uk About the role Welcome to the Fraud Investigation Team within Central Operations – an exciting team providing a structured framework and control environment to routinely monitor, identify, investigate and minimise the risk of fraud and loss across Boots UK & ROI. As the Fraud Investigation Manager, reporting into the Head of Security, Fraud and Contract Management, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of fraud analysts, Corporate Investigations Leads, and the roader store operations teams. Accountable and responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing fraud strategies, policies, monitoring controls, investigation governance and mitigating controls across the Boots UK stores and support office estate. Key responsibilities Responsible for fraud risk management across Boots UK, you will be accountable for the delivery of a risk-based framework of monitoring controls to identify fraud across the organisation Responsible for the governance of internal theft and fraud investigations, including ownership of standard operating procedure for investigations and fraud analysis. Responsible for ensuring compliance to organisation policies on fraud risk management Develop monitoring controls to respond to new and emerging risk of fraud, including advocating for fraud prevention controls in new initiative and system changes to mitigate or minimise potential risks of fraud. Represent and advocate for Boots UK externally through fraud and internal theft forums. What you'll need to have Have subject matter or related expertise in retail fraud investigations, and fraud methodology Have a proven track record of fraud investigations and risk management frameworks Significant experience in management roles with responsibility for managing office and field-based roles. Have a reptation for building strong internal and external relationships, working with local and national stakeholders and external partners Have a successful track record of interacting with and influencing senior level managers Have experience of risk management frameworks and controls A working knowledge of civil recovery process.
