Leadership Development Trainer
Location: Hybrid working, Worthing
Perm/FTC: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs
Salary: Up to £45,000 based on experience
Southern Water is seeking a Leadership Development Trainer to join our Learning & Development team. This role involves designing and delivering leadership and management development interventions, processes, and systems to support the company's vision. You will influence and challenge the organization to achieve its strategic goals by enabling employees to feel connected, informed, motivated, and high-performing through a range of development initiatives.
Accountabilities:
* Implement leadership development initiatives aligned with business objectives, building strong relationships with stakeholders and People Partners.
* Design and deliver leadership development programs, including mentoring schemes.
* Provide coaching to managers and employees to enhance performance and behaviors.
* Utilize psychometric testing and behavioral profiling to support leadership development.
* Conduct learning needs analysis, measure success, evaluate programs, and provide insights.
Skills & Competencies:
* Problem solving: Develop solutions to key challenges.
* Analytical skills: Evaluate training success and focus on commercial outcomes.
* Influence: Persuade middle management to support L&D initiatives.
* Communication: Effectively communicate in writing and speaking.
* Planning: Organize and coordinate events and programs.
* Content design and facilitation skills.
* Proactive initiative-taking and responsible decision-making.
* Excellent collaboration with stakeholders.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
* Understanding of current HR issues and continuous professional development (CPD).
* Experience in designing and managing learning & development activities.
* Knowledge of leadership development principles.
* Experience with learning and development practices.
* Behavioral profiling or psychometric testing qualification.
* Coaching qualification and/or experience.
