Job Summary
we are seeking a dedicated Nursery Apprentice qualification to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
As part of our nursery team, the apprentice will help to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. They will work alongside experienced practitioners to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, observe and record children's development, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
This role offers valuable hands-on experience and professional development opportunities, supporting the apprentice in gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner.
Duties
* Assist in providing high-quality care, play, and learning opportunities for children aged 0–5 years, in line with the EYFS framework.
* Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of stimulating and age-appropriate activities.
* Help to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that promotes children's well-being and development.
* Observe, record, and reflect on children's progress and share information with the team and parents where appropriate.
* Support children's personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence.
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times.
* Assist with the daily routines of the nursery, including mealtimes, nappy changing, toileting, and tidying up.
* Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
* Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship programme.
* Show enthusiasm for learning and developing professional skills within the childcare sector.
