Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.

Responsibilities
* Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
* Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to detect any suspicious behaviour or potential threats.
* Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the establishment.
* Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring that all incidents are documented appropriately.
* Enforce venue policies and regulations, including checking identification to prevent underage entry.
* Collaborate with other security personnel and staff to maintain a secure environment.
* Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, coordinating with emergency services as required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is desirable but not required
* First aid certification will be advantageous.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patrons and staff alike.
